Connect a memory with the night sky
A star map poster brings a personal moment together with a celestial design. A name, date or short message can make the connection clear without crowding the image. Consider whether the poster is for your own home or for someone whose story you want to celebrate.
The place and time matter
The visible sky changes with location and time. A decorative constellation image is not evidence of what could be seen from a particular place. A final astronomical design needs a defined location, date, time and calculation method. The current images are examples for inspiration.
Prepare your design
Prepare the date, exact location and local time if you know it. Accurate sky calculations also depend on the time zone. This page presents a design idea and does not generate a verified star map.
Questions about Star map poster
Is the example an accurate map for my date?
No. It is an inspiration image, not a personalised astronomical calculation.
What if I do not know the exact time?
Keep the date and location ready. The final configurator must explain how an unknown time is handled before you choose a design.
